One Cut privacy policy

One Cut requires no account. It has no analytics for gameplay, no advertising, and no cross-app tracking. It does not upload gameplay history.

What stays on your device

Sound, haptics, and motion preferences are stored locally in UserDefaults. The app also stores tutorial completion, achievements, encounter progress, Daily Rite completion, and run checkpoints in local UserDefaults storage. Checkpoint recovery copies and a recovery journal are written to files in the app's local Application Support directory.

The app does not provide a cloud account or gameplay sync service.

In Settings, Export my data creates a local JSON file of your saved runs, achievements, progress, and preferences. You choose whether to share that file using the system share sheet. Delete all data removes local game data and settings, including checkpoint recovery copies. It does not cancel purchases.

Purchases

Apple processes in-app purchases. RevenueCat supplies product offerings, purchase restoration, and entitlement status to One Cut. When configured, these checks can begin when the app launches. They require network access. The app's only network integration is RevenueCat for these purchase functions, with Apple handling the purchase transaction. One Cut does not receive payment-card details.

Purchase information handled by Apple and RevenueCat is separate from the gameplay data stored on your device. RevenueCat processes Purchase History for App Functionality, including receipt validation and full-game access, and Analytics, including its purchase dashboard. The app uses RevenueCat's anonymous App User ID and does not supply a name, email address or advertising identifier. One Cut does not link Purchase History to an identified person or use it for cross-app tracking. No product-usage analytics or gameplay upload is implemented.

Opening a support or policy link opens your browser. If you choose to share an export or contact support, the information you send leaves the app through the destination you select.
